Urgent- Jackson needs your help!

Jackson

Jackson, like so many dogs, once had a family that didn't devote the time, love and commitment required to make a wonderful family member. Here is Jackson's very sad story.

Jackson was with a family that he thought, was his "forever" home. Jackson was brought into his family at approximately five (5) weeks of age. He was one of a litter born in a car lot taken away from his mommy and littermates at way too early of an age. A family member took this little puppy known as Jackson home to be part of the family. Of course as a young little puppy, Jackson was the apple of everyone's eye. The family bottle fed Jackson, hence actually starving him, not knowing a five (5) week puppy can eat "puppy food".

As Jackson began to grow and develop his personality with no guidance or
training, he did what dogs do, guard their food, and became unruly as he had no schooling or education to teach him differently. His family, instead of doing the necessary training and committing the time to Jackson, decided to dump him into a shelter at the young age of only twelve months. There Jackson sat, for days and days, hopelessly waiting for his family to return. A very sweet, friendly and smart dog. Just needed the time, love and training that all dogs require.

Roxie's Fund was alerted that Jackson's time was running out at the shelter, so a volunteer went to meet Jackson and promptly rescued him from the shelter where he was facing euthanasia.

Jackson was taken to the vet for all his routine vaccinations and neuter and was eagerly awaiting a home of his own. We realized early on, that Jackson needed some emotional healing and training and was sent to work with our trainer to focus on his needs. Jackson has "blossomed" into the lovely companion everyone would want.

Jackson's professional rehabilitation was very costly, however worth every penny, as all he wants is to be loved and with a family he can call his own.
Jackson's "emotional" care was at the cost of approximately $3500.00 ~~ Yes, you read correctly ~~ $3500.00.

This is the commitment Roxie's Fund puts into re-homing and rehabilitating the dogs brought into our program. Jackson can use any and all financial support your heart and hand can spare. A dog "truly" deserving of a second chance in life at such a young age.

Can you please help Jackson and give him the financial support he desperately needs? All donations towards his treatment will truly be a big
help in a wonderful rescue happy ending.
